Hanover College, University of Indianapolis, Purdue University are just three of the popular colleges in Indiana from which a student can choose; and they all seem different though they have some likenesses as well. When trying to decide which college to pick, a senior in high school has a lot to look into to make her choice. Typically, cost is a big factor unless you are part of the small percentage that are multimillionaires who can pay for it without help. So this is where scholarships, grants, and loans come in to play. After that it can be determined also by some questions. Is the college in the middle of the city, or a small town, or in the middle of a corn field? Do I need a bus to get across campus to my class, or can I walk across the road? These are questions that really need to be considered for size and location of campus, and its surrounding areas. One must always also think of the academic advantages that the college offers for the interests of the student. Its cost is currently expected to be $34,164, with $25,154 being only the tuition. For all but select programs, the typical costs of books and other fees is $4,390, with half of that being listed as unknown costs when estimated. Ninety percent of students receive financial aid, with much of that coming directly from the school. Three levels of admission scholarships can be received; but with the same example as last time, one would only receive up to $11,000 a year instead. Along with the other department and special scholarships, loans, and grants, 21st Century scholarships are also available even to the extent of full tuition. Work opportunities are also extremely available, not only on campus, but in the surrounding areas of the campus as well
