County Prep Mission Statement

When I was 6 I wanted to be an astronaut. I dreamed of swimming amongst an ocean of stars, and being able to explore and uncover the secrets that space held. These hopes dwindled as I grew and learned more; however, in reality, it's only made me want to try harder. In fact, my childhood fantasies just motivated me to search for what I actually want in my life. Recently, more and more signs of success have been appearing, and I’ve realized that to reach the stars I need to find better, more substantial ways to learn. To go to County Prep would mean that I can have the chance to reach for those stars and even search for what I truly want. To go to County Prep would extremely help me learn and grow and even change how I critically think and tackle obstacles. The County Prep High School mission statement truly and entirely expresses why I hope and strive to attend this academic palace. "We are a dynamic, diverse and compassionate learning community that encourages growth and embraces change through meaningful activities in a student centered environment." This complete thought sums up why I want to learn and critically excel at this magnificent school. In full honesty, however, I think that I can contribute to this school just as much as it can contribute to my learning. May it be through sports or extracurriculars, I think that by getting this opportunity, I can submit a hefty sum of hardwork and genuine work ethic. By getting this opportunity I can be given the chance to excel at a prodigious and immense rate, something that is not very common. If given this chance I can maybe even change the reputation of the school to the extent that it reaches state or national
