A key component in any successful business is the empowerment of all departments, creating a cohesive work environment and maximizing productivity. Since 2001 I have enjoyed career building experiences in varied departments within the car dealership business. This has enabled me to have a unique understanding of interdepartmental relations. I began my career in the automotive business as a detailer, I have since had experiences in sales and in service. I have also held a management position for an AT&T retail store. However, throughout my experiences I have retained a love for detailing. The opportunity to hold a Detail Manager position with Fletcher would enable me to use my skill set to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the detail department by focusing on process and procedure, employee relations, and managerial duties. My experience as a manager for AT&T led me to a solid understanding of what it takes to not only manage a business, but also people. Good moods are infectious, especially in the workplace. By showing my excitement and commitment to Fletcher’s goals daily, detail employees will be encouraged to get on-board and work with me towards achieving those goals. Most employees have ideas about how they can be more efficient. To empower and motivate them I will ask for their input and get suggestions on how they can improve their performance. By taking their advice and implementing select suggestions the detail department will feel valued and preform at a higher level. Procedures will be in place & monitored for adequate training of employees, as well as for time-management, dress code, and other rules and regulations. By creating an environment of team-work, respect, and dedication I hope to gain core employees that are capable of educating and training future detail
