As well as being a reputable and highly sought after employee, I believe I have established a “great relationship with the union steward and employees,” (Pearson, 2013, pg. 3) which provides an advantage in overall union operations. In addition, I also have a military background, which included responsibilities in operations management that aligns well with union management operations. Furthermore, I understand responsibilities of my assigned task and take initiative to ensure associate employees understand their roles.
