Cover Letter While in this course I’ve gained a lot of insight into what it takes to be a writer. I’ve learned things such as, the importance of allowing yourself time to properly accomplish whatever task is at hand, whether that be making a persuasive argument, telling a story or explaining your point of view. After all, you get out what you put in. I’ve learned you can’t expect to get good results unless you’re willing to put in the time and effort. Additionally, I saw that you didn’t have to go through the process alone. Although it was ultimately my reasonability to make time for the work, I was given many resources to help me. After lots of revising and rewriting I feel as though my narrative essay will show a small piece of what I already knew and a large part of the many things, I have learned. I feel most proud of my narrative essay for quite a few reasons, the greatest reason being how it has impacted my writing process from then on. The blog posts, although sometimes aggravating, have been one of my favorite activities in this class. Having a little bit of writing to do every week instead of big chunks of essay every few weeks felt much more comfortable to me. They did become annoying during times when I had many other things to do that week, but never more than I could handle.
Another project we did in class was being grouped up and asked to put a disassemble essay together again. I enjoyed the process of examining every detail of the essay and looking for clues of every kind trying to find the exact way to piece everything together, looking at the tone of voice, the events in contexts and how the story advance. That experience taught me how to look at every piece of writing more closely, especially my
