From an early start we are all introduced to certain gender roles that are typically linked to our biological sex and in many societies gender roles are specifically defined. People are so quick to assume that boys should play with trucks or like superheros and girls should play with dolls and like to play dress up because this is the what our parents would supply us with. Our society more so recently than in earlier times have now started to accept more of a change when it comes to acting out gender roles. Sometimes, men will assume some feminine roles and women will assume some masculine roles without interfering with their gender identity. This applies to James, he states that he does not consider himself transgender and says that he is still confident as a boy and will always be a boy, but describes that it’s an art form for
