His parent’s john and Ellen Kelly. Ned left school in 1864 when he was just 10 years old after his father died in cattle related incident whilst he was helping Ned’s grandfather James Quin. The Kelly and Quin families where often accused of stealing horses and cattle but they where never actually convicted of these crimes. In 1869 Ned was only 14 and was convicted of assaulting a local pig famer and served 7 weeks in jail for his first convicted offence.
Ned’s father- an Irish convict- was transported from Ireland to Australia to serve seven years in jail for stealing two pigs. Six years after his release, John ‘Red’ Kelly had a son. Little did he know that his son would become one of the most famous convicts of all time. Many people still refuse to believe that Ned Kelly was incapable of being any more than a tyrant who did not have any fine qualities.
Later, two police officers in Oklahoma were also murdered as they were walking up to Bonnie and Clyde's car. They often ended up robbing grocery stores, gas stations, and small banks because they believed that they would be lightly guarded. Such crimes were only the start to their Name. Bonnie and Clyde's criminal career develop and had grownexpeinantally through out the years. They developed a reputation for violence, and often targeted law enforcement officers.
It was on such an occasion in 1959 when the previously mentioned Gerry O’Brien was rostered to transfer on No 14 to Sydney. He had departed the Coorparoo depot in the late afternoon and set off via the New England Highway, however, later that night Rex received a phone call to advise there had been a little trouble! This trouble had appeared out of the gloom in Gerry’s headlights in the form of a very large yet hard to see flock of sheep that had somehow engulfed the highway, not far south of Warwick, right in Gerry’s path.
This shows that Ned Kelly did not care if the people he killed had a family or not, yet he wasn’t happy when he lost his father, and neither was he alright with his mother (Ellen Kelly) being sent to jail. He even thought it was fine to threaten people. He threatened the people who thought of Ned Kelly as a cold-blood murderer that he will kill them (Outlawed – The Real Ned Kelly: 2014). Ned Kelly didn’t mind stealing from many people to gain wealth for himself. An example of this is when he stole a mob of calves from James Whitty.
Also the police started harassing Ned’s family before the Fitzpatrick incident at String Bark Creak. They wanted to see Ned’s sisters standing outside, shivering in the cold while they made up a fake story to
Ned Kelly is a villain, he is a thief, murderer and he was smart. He was smart enough to think for his family and ride horse. BUT he was a robber, with a gang, with guns and horse. He was a cattle thief, a mean outlaw. He had also robbed banks, but wait that’s not all, this will really get him killed, he had shot and killed 3 police man.
"Black Snake: The Daring of Ned Kelly” shows that Ned's life was exceedingly burdensome. At the age of 15, he was drawn into a fight that had nothing to do with him and was charged with ‘vicious assault’. Even after claiming his innocence, the police solely ignored him and he ended up serving six months in prison for no good reason. Ned spent three years of his life trying to live an honest life but the Victorian police watched the Kelly's like hawks and accused them of crimes they did not commit such as stealing horses. How could Ned have lived an honest life if every single time he looked over his shoulder, a trooper would be standing there with both guns loaded and aimed at his forehead?
People have different opinions of Ned Kelly, he may be an Outlaw, criminal or hero but he is certainly a well-known spirit of Australia. One of the most Australian infamous bushrangers, Ned Kelly (1854-1880) was wanted for murdering 3 polices and robbing 2 banks, he was also wanted for other crimes. Although he did these crimes, Ned Kelly gave money to the poor and was trying to save up money to break free his mother from hard labour. Ned Kelly was a gentlemen to people who deserved somewhat kindness and was a hero for those who were poor, and he also didn’t deserve being hunted down by dishonest

John Dillinger was one of the most notorious criminals in American history. He was known to be part of the most organized and deadly bank robbing gang and highly wanted by the FBI. John began his criminal behavior at a young age, initiating his urge to become a professional bank robber. Using the psychodynamic theory, social learning theory and the differential association theory, I hope to analyze the factors that triggered John Dillinger's criminal behavior that was present in his childhood, leading to his adulthood and how he managed to maintain his label as a thief. John Herbert Dillinger was born on June 22, 1903, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the youngest child to John Wilson Dillinger and Mary Ellen Lancaster.
In the past decade, Bee keepers in North America have reported to seen an alarming decline in honey bees. In some places such as Utah, honey bee populations have plummetted by as much as 70 percent. In conjunction with North America, the decline in the honey bee population has been observed in Europe as well which is the place these insects originated from. The number of hives around the planet has been at it’s lowest point in fifty years. This problem in which majority of working bees disappear has now been termed as the “colony collapse disorder” by biologists.
Deviance has many functions in society. Although deviance violates social norms, without it, we would not have rules, so it helps form, guide, and shape society’s norms and goals. Social norms are different from culture to culture. Norms that may be acceptable in one culture may be frowned upon in another. Emile Durkheim quotes that “deviance and deviant behavior is an integral part of all healthy societies (Adler, 2014, p74).”
