A cover page should have the title of your paper, your name, teachers name, class name, and the date in the center of the page. You can google examples of these. Another thing, which you already know is that it was to short. Be sure on your final draft you have 6-8 pages. Next, we were asked to look at the thesis statement. You seem to have an idea of what it is supposed to be, but it does need work. It should only be one sentence something to this effect: Although this is happening we should do this because this this and this. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a sentence it can be a question. It should also lead to a brief introduction of what you are going to be writing about in your paper. At the end of the paragraph is where your thesis statement goes.
The first paragraph will be about the first point of your thesis. Use an opening sentence that refers to your thesis, so we know what you are going to be talking about. It’s almost like a hook sentence for every new point. Do this every time you introduce a new topic from the thesis. Remember to do them in order of how they are stated in the thesis.
