Was Rome different or similar to the U.S? Well, Rome´s government was similar to, but their religion was different from ours completely. Also, their activities weren´t the same but not completely different. Therefore, Rome was like the U.S today because of government, and somewhat of activities. Roman government was very similar to the U.S in different ways.
Rich people stopped paying taxes while some others just left. Both empires relied on the slaves a lot. Only in Rome just like the rich the slaves stopped paying taxes and started to leave. There were less people in Rome and later on there weren't even a few lefts all because of taxation. In the Han dynasty they did struggle with taxation but not as much as the Western Roman empire.
The governments of Rome and America, do share similarities. Executive leaders from both could have their power taken away by legislators, they both had military responsibilities, and both had veto power. They also had limited terms in office, although there is a difference in duration.

The Maasai culture and the culture of most Americans are similar and different in a variety of ways.
