I wish to apply for the Customer Advisor - Escalations (secondment) position.
I’m really interested in this position as I feel that this is another step towards my progression within the business. With my can do attitude and knowledge of the customer journey from beginning my career in reservations and being the first point of contact, to working my way through customer relations and seeing the impact that this has on the customer.

I now have gained more of an understanding of what will happen if we don’t set the customers expectation. I deal with all problems head on and feel that it’s more how can I solve the problem and find a solution that benefits not only the customer but also ensuring that the supplier/broker relationships are kept strong.

I am able to be assertive when sending steps to the supplier whilst not damaging relationships. I am able to set the customer expectations by being upfront honest and straight talking.

I have a built up and carry on building strong relationships with my work colleagues and my peers who are able to approach me for guidance or support. I have done side by side coaching, going through cases with colleagues, looking through the case and the history and how we can get to the end result whether this be using the micro sites, calling the customer or contacting the supplier directly.

Although I am not fluent in any other languages I am able to engage with people, ensuring that I’m speaking slowly so that they understand, ensuring that I am able to simplify the conversation in order to make them feel more comfortable and at ease.
