With the door being propped open, Holmes proceeded to his car where he had left his weapons of choice to carry out his plan. He put on Police SWAT gear, loaded up his guns, and walked back toward the theater. Before he entered he threw a canister of tear gas into the audience. The act of a mad man had been committed and the unthinkable had been done.
