Reading about David Hume was very interesting. Hume didn’t give up on his passion. Even though people didn’t necessarily believe in him, he knew his value and hoped that one day people understood how great he was. Yes, he was ahead of his time, but that what made him so unique as a person. His second attack on reason caught my attention the most. He mentioned that the ideas we possess are not based on reason but on feeling”. Most of the concepts that process in our brain have some sort of feeling and meaning behind it after a while. His idea of never denying the differentiation of nature and the mind was very fascinating. At first, I was very confused but this theory. After reading more about this I began to understand it a bit more. This didn’t deny the idea he had for unifying it. Watching the Gustave Flaubert was very fun actually. Learning his story and his ideas amazed me. His view of the world was different and unlike others which made him unique. His understanding of tragedy was something that many people understand. The tragedy is something that is hard but is apart of life. We all go through it at one point in our lives and something we all have to understand even if we don’t have a personal connection to it. The other point that Flaubert that interested me was that he believes that what we read matters. I believe this in so many ways. Even though I don’t love reading it does help open our minds to new possibilities in life. As well as brighten our
