Bringing The Daycare Back To A Christ Centered Facility

Mission Statement:

We believe that each child is a child of God and should have every opportunity to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually to his/her fullest potential.
(Church Mission Statement)
We believe that our church is called to the ministry of carrying for children, showing concern for families, and providing support and nurture for our own congregation and for the surrounding community.
I realize that my age and job experience stake odds against me. Through these odds I believe that I can bring something different to this facility that hasn’t been here before. The difference I believe I can provide is a Christ …show more content…

When a parent or child walks into the daycare I want them to know the difference between a regular daycare and us. Employees need to care for the children in a Christ like manner and be slow to anger. (James 1:19 -This you know, my beloved brethren But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger). This will teach the children how to respond in a Christ-Like manner.

3. The church needs to be one entity with the daycare. Meaning when a church event is being planned the Daycare should have part in these events. Church picnics, VBS, Out Reach, Church Services, Small Groups, and other events should all be advertised within the doors of Tender Times. (Mark 16:15-And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation). These children can be the future of our church and of the Kingdom of God. Tender times needs to be a mission field.

Added Curriculum
Using a biblically based curriculum Tender Times can integrate faith in Jesus Christ and allow each child the opportunity to experience growth both spiritually and academically. Age-appropriate activities should be integrated into each classroom’s daily curriculum to enhance and stimulate each child’s learning experience.
