When emulating some of Bryan Peterson style there would be a need to have release forms with me for people I photographed and release forms if I were taking photos on private property. I would need to observant of the social and ethical environment when taking photos in other countries. The stakeholder for the photo that I chose to emulate would be myself since the tree is on my property. Since, I am taking the photos on my own property, there is not a need to ask permission, or in breach of any ethical issues.

I think the four rules that were stated in the Death by Photography: A Kevin Carter Case Study, is a good place to start. I can only imagine what a struggle this would be in difficult situations, like that of Kevin Carter.
