Physically attractive objects and people are known to be beautiful and desirable, and those that do not meet society’s standards of “beauty” can be ridiculed. Yet, beauty does not mean the outward or physical appearance of a person or object. Beauty can define a person’s heart and personality; beauty can explain a person’s actions, or describe an inspiring view.
In this world, there is an infinite amount of definitions for beauty. The perception of beauty all depends on the point of view of the person. Although human beings haven`t come up with an exact definition of beauty, some people base their definition on external qualities, while others base on internal qualities. For the purpose of this essay, beauty is defined as a quality, external or internal, that catches the attention of a person, and it is strong enough to make that person think about it constantly. Beauty comes in many forms, and it is only recognized when it contains the qualities necessary to stand out.
Define beauty? Do you look in the mirror and like what you see? Do you see yourself as beautiful? Beauty in our society has many various forms. For me, beauty encompasses confidence, strength, healthy habits and values.
