Growing up, I never once thought of what it could mean to be cool. As a child, I would call anything cool from puppies to barbie dolls. Most times, I didn't think much of the term cool or how everyone else saw it. It never registers inside of my head to give the term a definition of my own. When you ask others about the term, most times they would answer with it meaning the temperature of the room, outside, etc. At least, that’s the answer I was given from my grandparents about the term. But if others are asked, teenagers up to young adults, the term is given many different definitions. At the moment, it is up to how I define the term, cool. In this case, I happen to think of a few definitions that could define what cool means to me. But after narrowing it down, I believe the best definition would be referring to something that someone may like. To began thinking of what the term means is to figure out how yourself describes things that are deemed cool. For example, when I see Nicki Minaj’s fashion choices and I happen to think of her style as being cool. For instance, when referring to something I find attractive, cooking comes to my mind. When I find out someone can cook very well, cool happens to be my first thought. Especially because I’m not that great at cooking, even when I follow the recipes. A simple yet complicated task as in cooking will be one thing I find to be cool. But that’s not all that cool can mean, it can mean something that everyone doesn't believe in or vice versa. Mythology is a topic that I deem to be cool due to having many unique creatures and people included in it.
