It is reasonable to do activities we want as long as it is not done to intentionally hurt anyone. I am pro-gay rights and I have some family members who disagree with this. They say that it is a sin not to confine with the gender we are each given at birth. Moreover, they raise their eyebrows at homosexuals and transgenders, saying they are sinners. It is preposterous for them to say this because they are the people who only follow the commandments and laws in the Bible which are convenient to them. They blindly follow the Bible and engage in pleasurable activities which are considered immoral. I agree with what Albert Camus has said, "The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion." (Camus, www.brainyquote.com). As an example, Lady Gaga lives her life without letting anyone tell her she cannot be who she wants to be. Certainly, as long as our beliefs and attitudes do not hurt anyone, we should be able to be free and frolic. Pursuing this further, we should know our limitations in all the pleasurable things we intend to do. Epicurus said it perfectly, "No pleasure is a bad thing in itself, but the things which produce certain pleasures entail disturbances many times greater than the pleasures themselves."
