Happiness Stacy Charter once said, “Don’t rely on someone else for your happiness and self-worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can’t love and respect yourself – no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are – completely; the good and the bad – and make changes as YOU see fit – not because you think someone else wants you to be different.”
For some, the secret to happiness is having a lot of things in life. A house, nice car, a lot of friends, and money in the bank… these are examples of happiness. For others, happiness is being able to say. Growing up, I thought happiness meant these things. But I’ve learned over the years, that happiness about the things around me. Committing yourself to everything you do, making realistic goals and not comparing yourself to others will help frame the mind to think differently. There will always be someone who has more than you do, more money, better cars, a higher education level, but focusing on what you don’t have will only make you unhappy. Instead, remember how blessed we truly are.
Our attitudes can be a major contributor to our happiness. A positive attitude can make you happier and improve many aspects in a person’s life.
