Respect, everybody wants it, but few actually get it. True respect is not something that you can impose or ask from others; it is something that others gives to you from their own will and it is not that easy to get. We live in a feminized society and most people are egocentric, immature and do not follow tradition and honor code anymore. A lot of people will be jealous of your success and start hating you instead of respecting you. They will try to lower you down by every sneaky way possible in order to get themselves up in the group’s social hierarchy. I bet the count is close to 0, right? How strange is it, that you negatively discriminate the people who bring you down and favor those who bring you up? That’s right, Psychology 101, in general, people will only give you respect, if you first respect them. Another basic rule that so much people tend to forget in their everyday life. Respect is a 2-way street! You don’t have to agree with every stupid shit they say, but listen to their point and be polite. Anyway, most of the time, it will not bring you any benefit destroy their opinions. Just listen, be open-minded and listen even more. After a few question, if you do not agree, you can say: I understand and respect your views but I’m not convinced. Let’s agree to disagree on that one.
