First of all, what is success? If you look it up in a dictionary, you’d find that, “Success is the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors; the accomplishment of one’s goals or dreams.” But indeed, is that how simple you can elaborate what success entails? I believe that each person has it’s own perspective or personal view on the word success. Now, how do we reach success? More or less people believe that success in life comes from taking a risk or chances yet others say it can be attained without trying or taking a risk.
Primarily, for me, it’s no. People often have this negative view on risk taking. They think that taking risks is a dangerous and careless act that will always lead to nothing good. But that’s not true.

No one will ever really know, not unless we try it. Remember what T.S Eliot once said, “Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.” You’ll never know what you’re really capable of if you don’t want to take the risk of failing. Also, Confucius once said that, “Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time we fall.” There’s nothing wrong in failing, it simply means that you tried.
