Success is everything that we are taught, we are taught how to succeed on life. Success can be anything from graduating high school, to becoming one of the wealthiest people in the world. Success does not mean the same thing to everyone. Success means more to some people then others, you might feel successful if you get your homework done that night. However, another one of your peers might think of success as helping put food on the table for his little brothers and sisters. The definition of success is not the same to everyone and it can’t be the same for anyone because everybody has different values on what they count as success. I think of success as more of a long-term goal. If I forget to do my Economics homework one night, that doesn’t mean I am not successful, I can still pass the class and learn the same amount or even potentially more and still succeed in the class. Another example would be if I am bowling, If I throw a 160 game, I know that I can go throw a 230 average the rest of the day and do well knowing that I still have more games to make it up and succeed. Success has no definite definition.

That word is Intelligence. The large majority of successful people are intelligent, I don’t think I have seen a millionaire that wasn’t successful partly of their intelligence. You have to know what you are doing to be successful. Bill Gates once famously said “Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can't lose.” This shows that even one of the richest person in the world still knows that smart and successful people can still fail. Bill Gates knows that you need to learn from the mistakes you make and always strive to make what you did wrong and improve upon your wrong
