Some people might ask, what is true success? Different people have different interpretations of this topic. People know what the meaning of success is with a dictionary and who is successful off Forbes, but they may not be able to tell you clearly what is a successful person and what constitutes success. The meaning of success to me is the opposite of failure; more like the status of having achieved accomplished an aim or objective. If you achieve what you want to and are happy, then that is success in life. Stopping comparisons of yourself to others and creating your own standards is the meaning of being successful. Money is important in life but having money doesn’t always mean successful, does it? Those people who have lots of money but aren’t able to live their life the way they want to, wouldn’t mean they are successful. Your concept of success is deeply connected with your values and beliefs. If your system of values in your conscious says having money is the most important thing in life, then you will deem that as success. But if your value system says that apart from having money, peace, stability, integrity, happiness and contentment are also important, it presents an entirely different picture of success to you. Some people are abundantly wealthy, but not truly happy. Some people are plain ordinary but very happy and secure about themselves. Some people make lots of money, but don't save much. Some people don't make lots of money, but save a great deal of what they earn. Some people live with a scarce mentality, even after they become rich. Some people spend with a generous heart, even if they have limited means. We don't know whether we should call one or the other successful because we are not sure how far their lifestyles and their individual habits contribute to their success or sense of well
