Memory, like the human being itself, is complex and fascinating. It is to her that we pay more attention and to which we demand more in our lives since our life exists thanks to our memory. Life is made up of memories. and moments that are recorded throughout our lives.
What is memory? Memory is the ability to acquire, store and retrieve information. We are who we are thanks to what we learn and remember. Without memory we would be unable to perceive, learn or think, we could not express our ideas or have a personal identity, because without memories it would be impossible to know who we are and our life would lose meaning.

Among the degenerative diseases associated with memory, one is Alzheimer's disease.
This disease affects the parts of the brain that control thinking, memory and language. Memory is weakened, recent daily events are not remembered and as it progresses memory is affected for the oldest vital events; the affections are impoverished, with loss of interest to maintain social relations with the family and the environment, showing a progressive social isolation. The disease process is gradual and usually the person deteriorates slowly. So far the cause of the disease is unknown and has no cure.
