Some main characters in the book is John, he is the son of linda. John doesn’t really know anything about the world and doesn’t really fit in. In the seventh chapter it says ““Why wouldn’t they let me be the sacrifice? Some of the main characters in the book are Katniss Everdeen, and Peeta Mellark. Katniss Everdeen was the one of the winners and the main character of all the books, she’s known as “the girl on fire”(Collins). And peeta mellark is Katniss's best friend in the games and somewhat boyfriend.
