Respondent: Yes. I got adopted and then I got unadopted.

Interviewer: (33:23) You ended up going to jail from that experience, and then ended up going back to a halfway house? Just so I'm clear. You were adopted in 2008, and then how long were you there with that family?
Respondent: For another six years.
Interviewer: (33:45) Near the end of that time, you ended up going to jail for some reason.
Respondent: Been to jail, going through jail. Started going through jail from freshman year all the way--- I've been going to jail from 14 all the way to 19. Like 22 times. By the seventh time, I had 22 surgeries.
Interviewer: (34:14) You've been through a lot.
Respondent: I got shot and stabbed.
Interviewer: (34:18) We’ll talk about that in a little bit. From 2008 when you first were adopted to 2014, you ended up in jail. You were in jail off and on throughout that time. Then when you left in 2014, you ended up going back to a halfway house instead of going back to that foster family. Then you were adopted again after that?
Respondent: Mm-hmm (agreement). I wasn't adopted again.
