In the Book Diary of The Wimpy Kid Rodrick rules by Jeff Kinney, Gregory and Rodrick got grounded while their parents and little brother are going to hawaii and Rodrick lied to Gregory to go to the basement to get something and locked him up in there. Rodrick invited everyone from his school to his house to make a party. Gregory called his friend for help to get him out of there. Rodrick caught Gregory’s friend and locked him up too. Mom called home and Rodrick told everyone to be quiet.
Greg met someone named Lemon Brown, and Lemon Brown adored his treasure’s. Later on in the story, it introduces the thugs, these thugs were horrible people. All Greg wanted to do was play basketball and not worry about school. His father disagreed with his wishes. Greg’s father wanted him to stay in school and get good grades.
Bad things happen to good people. A Series of Unfortunate Events, by Lemony Snicket, is a story about the orphans that are in a bad situation. In the book I read SLAM! By Walter Dean Myers at the beginning of the chapter. The dad was mad because Greg has a tutor now and the dad doesn’t think the son need a tutor. Also the dad is mad at Greg because he knows that Greg can do the work but Greg doesn’t make it palatable with his mind he wants to be stubborn and joke off in class and is lazy with his school work. Jordan Harris The Summary I have read the book The Outsiders and it was amazing. The Author is S.E Hilton and the genre is realistic fiction. There are 2 main characters Ponyboy and Johnny. Ponyboy is apart of a group called the greasers where he is the youngest, him, Johnny and his brothers are all in the gang as well. Johnny is 1 year older than Ponyboy unlike Pony,Johnny has problems at home.
Greg was suffering from loneliness. This is what cause Greg Ousley to go “Berserk” and kill both of his parents with a 12 gauge shotgun. It is stated in the article that his mom thought he was crazy as well by saying that he “watches way too many movies”. This made Greg feel lonely since not even his own mom was there for him when he needed them most. He felt denied from his own parent/mother and this is what drove him to do this.
