Anne Frank was born on June 20, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. Anne and her family moved to Amsterdam after Hitler took chancellor of Germany on January 20, 1933. While in Amsterdam Anne was given a diary for her 13th birthday. Weeks later her sister Margot Frank received a letter to work at a nazi work camp. The very next day the family went into hiding in a makeshift quarters in an empty space at the back of Otta Frank's company building.

The Nazis were the members of a party in Germany named National Socialist German Workers'. It was created by Adolf Hitler in 1933. Adolf Hitler believed that the Jews couldnt be Germans and that socialism was a bad for Germany and should be destroyed because Jews inveted it, and it was another reason why he hated Jews. Adolf Hitler made life imposible for the Jews especially for a Jews girl named Anne Frank and her family.
In June 12, 1929, a baby was born. Her name was Annelies Marie Frank. She was a Jewish girl born in Frankfurt, Germany. Childhood Anne had a sister, named margot, a father named otto and a mother named Edith who stayed at home and looked after her.
