BUCHENWALD CAMP My camp that I was assigned was Buchenwald,this was built when concentration camps were barely,getting construction. The camp was established in July 16,1937 the first 300 prisoners arrived that day. The Jews were liberated in April 11,1945 by the U.S. Army (cf.liberator section),Chuck Ferree was the first to share his story.
