The American colonist were unquestionably right in waging war and breaking away from Britain. The colonist no longer wanted to be under Britain's strong mercantilist. Conflict had rose between the mother country and the colonist. The American colonist were justified in waging and breaking away from Britain because of taxes, treatment, and mercantilism.
The American Revolutionary War was an important moment in our history as it stood for our freedom from the English monarchy. Many conflicts and battles happened all throughout the country, making it seem as if the Englishmen had the upper hand with their advanced military an naval forces. It apparently did not help them because the colonists and the Native Americans used their weaknesses against them and eventually won their independence from the English. With their independence at hand and the British troops sent back, how exactly did this war get to this conclusion? How did the colonists win this war an outsmart the more advanced troops in battle?

The American Colonists were able to defeat the militarily stronger British by utilizing the hatred between the British and the French, having a stronger general, and using their knowledge of their homeland to fight against the British. First of all, the colonists were smart enough to use the animosity between the British and French for their own benefit.
Comparison Essay In this essay I will be telling you about some of the biggest wars in American history. Those two wars are the Revolutionary War and the Civil war. They have some similarities, but they also have some differences. They were fought for two completely different reasons.
There were many battles between the British and the colonists. One very important battle is the Battle of Saratoga. This battle was a major defeat for the British and it gave hope to the colonists that they might win the war.
