Finally, they were able to retrieve their friends and they stumbled upon Bridget, a maid that worked for the king. The trolls soon gained the trust of Bridget and they gave her a magnificent makeover. Not only did they give her an awesome wardrobe, the trolls stunned the audience with her colorful hair. Therefore, the prince and Bridget were able to fall in love but, due to Bridget’s shyness, she ran away. When they finally reached the castle yet again the trolls were discovered by the chef.

In the Beauty And The Beast Belle was a polite, loving, and strong girl. She loved the people in here town and especially loved her father, she treated everyone with kindness and she always stood up for herself. When Belle lost her father she went looking for him and found clues that lead her to him. When she found him she was over flown with joy but didn’t know how to get him out. She then found the beast and that was when her loving and polite qualities didn’t help her.
The roles of masculinity, specifically the Beast and Gaston, held a similar meaning in the 2017 version of the films. The same concepts of creating the ideal male is present in this version, such as the handsome qualities and wealth, however, the Beast shows more qualities of being caring towards Belle and to be be interested in her dreams. This is shown specifically when the Beast uses his magic book, to allow Belle to find out the truth about her mother and to come to terms with what happened (2017, 01:16:10-01:19:34). This shows that in this contemporary version of the film, the Beast showed more compassion to Belle and valued her interests. In this version of the film, The Beast specifically learns to become a man, with the help of his servants but also a large amount if his changes comes from qualities shared with Belle.

Beauty and the Beast is a fairy tale that have many motifs similar to others. For example, in terms of plot, one, begin the story with the difficulties that the protagonist has to face. He or she has to be nice and patient. Like Beauty, she is a good girl who sacrifices herself to go to live with the Beast instead of her father; as a result, she saved her father’s life. Two, the end of story usually ends with marriage and a happy ending.
