We have a lot of problems when it comes to diversity that occurs in the workplace these problems cam be race, gender, culture, beliefs, and religion. If we, as a country, will truly be accepting through the diversity that we have as a nation then we will need to take action and really hope towards something better in our society. I believe that there are a lot of things that go in a company that a lot of us go blind too. It is not always easy for everyone to cope and really understand where some come from and how others feel. We sometimes get in a state of “always about me and no one else”. We live in a culture that presents itself as difficult and highly misunderstood for the different values of society and frankly we always have. It is something that we are not able to fully embrace at times and is commonly misunderstood. We sometimes could not understand the different backgrounds that everyone has been through in their lives and truly has something that we could all benefit from. Race and gender are some things that we truly benefit from as a whole especially in a company that has come a long way and can come to an even stronger aspect when we truly move forward. I believe that as Obama stated, “race is an issue that..this nation cannot afford to ignore”.2 Race is a very hard subject for a lot of people mainly because based off of what everyone thinks is more important that how someone else feels.
