The working title of the project is: Facilitating effective knowledge transfer in age diverse workforces 2.0 Introduction and Research Background Diversity is a subject of particular interest to contemporary organisations, principally as a result of a seismic shift in organisational working patterns and social trends (Culpin et al., 2015). Focusing particularly upon age diversity raises the interesting question of how organisations can harness and internally transfer valuable organisational knowledge from senior and junior employees, and also on a reciprocal basis from junior to senior employees in respect of technological excellence. This two-way information transfer represents a novel aspect of research and one for which there is little in the way of precedent.
