Calculus is the branch of mathematics that deals with the finding and properties of derivatives and integrals of functions. Calculus was created by two men in the 1670’s, Sir Isaac Newton of England and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibnitz, they both deserve the same credit for the creation of calculus, Even though these men deserve the same credit they discovered it very different ways. Newton found it while investigating physics and geometry, while Leibniz focused on the tangent problem and came to the conclusion that calculus was an abstract explanation of change.
