Able-bodied, mentally healthy people should be required to work if receiving welfare.I believe that this should be enforced because many people take advantage of the aid that is supposed to be temporary. “food stamps should be temporary; not a decade on the dole”. It is not fair for people who work every day having money taken away from their checks and can barely make ends meet. While others just receive support and do not even bother taking the time to look for a job most of the time. For example, I have family members who refuse to work since the government is giving them all they need. They have been on food stamps for years. They kept on having children because they would say that the government would just give them, even more, money and aid.
