The Education of Ultimate Aim
An academic certificate has been playing an increasingly important role in our day-to-day life, It has brought us a lot of benefits of employment, but has created some serious problems as well. Most students care more about how to achieve an “A” grade rather than the process of knowledge acquisition, in other words, today's education is that put too great an emphasis on extrinsic rewards. Although some people may object they believe that achieve an “A” grade should mean success in this course, I would answer that an “A” grade does not represent a student has fully mastered the knowledge of the subject, for example, staying up all night studying before the exam will become a custom which might help to improve scores, …show more content…

For drivers of educational, some people do it by external because money; for example, to find a good job need a good qualifications; and others aspiration for obtaining knowledge. I think this can be distinguished into intrinsic and extrinsic drivers. Although they can all driving people to receive education, their results are not the same. Daniel H. Pink introduces two new concepts in the book Drive-Type I and Type X, Motivation 2.0 depended on and fostered Type X (Extrinsic) behavior- in my opinion Type X, they focused on external rewards, and Motivation 3.0 depended on and fostered Type I (Intrinsic) behavior-they main motivator is the freedom, in other words,Type X and Type I can be divided into two types: Extrinsically motivated and Intrinsically motivated. “To be sure, reducing human behavior to two categories sacrifices a certain amount of nuance.”(76) according to Daniel Pink’s enumerate, Type I behavior is made, not born, Type I’s almost always outperform Type X’s in the long run,Type I behavior is made, not born,Type I behavior does not disdain money or recognition,Type I behavior is a renewable resource,Type I behavior promotes greater physical and mental well-being.(76-78)in conclusion, Whether personal fulfillment or professional success, we all need
