Dry ice is made from carbon dioxide gas. Carbon dioxide gas is then made into a liquid called liquid nitrogen. Liquid nitrogen is made from CO2. CO2 is made from carbon, oxygen, and oxygen. O2 stands for oxygen times 2.

Then the liquid carbon dioxide, or liquid nitrogen, is put into a block press or a pelletizer. these two things are meant to press together items to make new items. These machines have chambers in which, once released to the atmospheres pressure, it then turns into dry ice snow. it can also make carbon dioxide gas. they then re-capture the released gas, and do the process over again.

There are multiple ways dry ice can be used. you can use dry ice to accelerate a plants growth. It is also used to cool down asphalt quicker.
