Dry ice is a frozen carbon dioxide,a normal part of our earth’s atmosphere.Dry ice is a solid but turns into a gas which the term for this would be called sublimation.Sublimation occurs when the surface particles of a solid gains enough energy that they form a gas.Using dry ice is a way to keep the temperature low when a refrigerator is not available.People also use dry ice for projects and experiments.
