It is an honor for me to be invited to join such an exclusive society of distinguished people. I am excited about being part of the National Honor Society in view of the limitless opportunities and the strong support system it represents for me. I consider myself a scholar, by reason of the fact that I thrive to excel in my academics and accomplish my best in any achievable way. Through my years as a student I have worked on helping my classmates and my community in any way I possibly can. By offering equine therapy to participating in the climate reality project I have demonstrated leadership and service to my community.

I have a high school life filled with dedication to these four principles on the Spiritual standpoint, the Familial level, the Community level and finally at the National level. It is a great honor to be nominated as a member of the National Honor Society. There are many reasons why I want to take part in NHS. One reason why I want to be in it is to continue to grow academically with people who have the same goals as me. I want to be encouraged, not discouraged by the people around me. If I get into NHS, it will give me a lot of opportunities to be a leader.
It is truly a great honor to be considered as a potential member of one of the most prestigious organizations in the country. The National Honor Society (NHS) is founded on three pillars: leadership, service, and character. These pillars are what every member of the NHS abides by daily. I believe I exemplify what the NHS was created for and would be a great addition to the organization. Leadership is a core part of what the NHS is all about.
What I see as the function of the National Honor Society is to encourage young adults like myself to participate more within their school and community. It allows students the ability to give and serve other people that have done so for them. This group will give many students an eye opening experience on volunteering for fellow citizens. If I were to be selected into the National Honor Society, I would contribute to the group by sharing ideas and giving useful feedback to the other students in the group. I would also provide personal experiences of certain voluntary services that I have completed, if needed.
Jane Goodall once said, “What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” For being a member in the National Honor Society, you are required to make choices involving the four pillars representing the activity itself; scholarship, service, leadership, and even character. Like Goodall says, you have the power to make anything happen, but it is your gift to be able to choose what you will produce. If anyone is being honest, it is a privilege to qualify for such an inspirational activity. Being a part of The National Honor Society requires you to encompass scholarship, service and character which I tend to often demonstrate and constantly strive for.
I am extremely honored to be eligible for this opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. She encompassed all the requirements for entrance into the National Honor Society and ever since then, I have had my mindset on following in her footsteps and stepping even farther to conquer the indefinite. As I opened the letter to be invited to apply for membership, I could not even remember the last time my eyes and smile sprouted that immense because to me, being nominated to be a member of the National Honor Society is an honor in itself. To start off, I was born in Santa Cruz city, Bolivia. I went to Angela Pinckert High School, and since I was a kid I have always pushed myself to work hard and be an excellent student, and also get involved with opportunities that are out there, so in primary school I was part of the honor society as the best student of my class. Then, when I got into high school I was also in the honor society as the best student of the school. However, I have also participated in extracurricular activities out of the school. As an example, my first activity that I had was when I was in 6th grade, where I had the opportunity to develop my leadership skills by creating and organizing groups to develop an ecological project as we saw that our community was facing
