Members of Wooster 's Ebenezer Lodge 33 expressed a desire for a full-scale Masonic ceremony when the county commissioners return an archival box to a stone niche in the Wayne County Courthouse. Community leaders like the idea of combining the event with the annual Ohio Light Opera concert, which features patriotic and popular music, on July 4th. While the two events are not necessarily mutually exclusive, there is a scheduling conflict.
Upon entrance to the Ebenezer church, the high-peaked ceilings immediately mesmerized me. The white, peaked ceilings were beautifully decorated in imagery of what appeared to be a flower motif repeated all throughout. The three windows at the top of the sanctuary brought lots of natural light creating a feeling of the presence of God. The architecture of the tall, elaborate stained glass held symbols of the church including the grapevine, wheat, etc. A worker for the National Parks Service told us that the stain glass windows had been donated the after destruction of the building, which is why names appear at bottom of every window.
What is an organization and what organization is I affiliated to and what does my organization? All of these questions I had to ask myself so I could write this essay. I am apart of many organization voluntary and non-voluntary. The one organization I will be elaborating on is my church.
On August 13, 1954, Reverend George D. West announced that the Tennessee Christian Missionary Society, which is the state organization of the Disciples of Christ churches in Tennessee, purchased the 1802 Grand Ave property for its new headquarters. The TCMS began in 1894 as the result of “movements that were backlashes against the rigid denominationalism of the early 1800s. The movement’s purpose was to return to the principles of the early churches described in the New Testament.” By 1969, the TCMS outgrew the 1802 Grand Ave property, put it on the market for $30,000, and moved to 3700 Richland Avenue.

In this paper, I will be exploring the key ideas that Father Paul Holmes highlights in his book A Pastor’s Toolbox. Father Holmes divides his book into fifteen chapters that examine a variety of topics that a newly ordained priest will need to know something about, especially when he begins his pastoral ministry. Unfortunately, these issues are not subjects that a seminarian is trained to deal with before his ordination to the priesthood. In this book, Father Holmes identifies five areas that are essential in leading a parish’s administration: 1.)

Which is derived from the beliefs systems of the Eastern Orthodox culture. The Church is the joint combination of “autocephalous”, which is greek for self headed, Churches, with the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople being the only autocephalous head who holds the title primus inter pares, "first among equals" in Latin.
“If I’m being honest, I get, on average, four to five hours of sleep every night, just because I’m juggling all my homework on top of my extracurriculars. Second semester will only get crazier, because then tennis season starts. My schedule will literally explode.” Jasmin Yu-- we all know about her. The simple mention of her name conjures up images of the “perfect student”--a straight-A piano prodigy, devoting herself entirely to her studies, while simultaneously balancing marching band practices with Praise Band chapel performances, Honors Society Executive Board duties with 3 AP course workloads, and tennis season with her social life.
One could confidently say that in 1939, an historic event took place in Methodism. It brought the Methodist Protestant Church (MPC) which was separated from the Methodist Episcopal Church (MEC) in 1828 over the issue of lay representation at the Conference levels and other issues and the Methodist Episcopal Church, North and the Methodist Episcopal Church, South which were split in 1844 over the issue of slavery. These denominations were reunited forming the Methodist Church, however the road of the reunification was not easy at all. The sad part of the reunion was that blacks are segregated into a separate Central Jurisdiction.
