Introduction

(AGG) In the Middle Ages the system called feudalism kept the life going. (BS-1)It was a give-and-get type of system that let people live an organized life. (BS-2)The manor which was a terriotical and self-sufficient unit that helped it to work. (BS-3) Farmers played a key role and also contributed to medieval life by providing food, taking care of lands. (TS) These peasants and the economic method both supported this political system.

Feudalism - Introduction / Overview

(MIP-1) Feudalism was the economic system in the middle ages that let people and the manor to live an organized life. (SIP-A) The amount of land someone had made a huge impact on their and their family's lives.(STEWE-1) This economic system was mostly based on land. If someone had a lot of it, they were wealthier, if they didn't have as much, then they were not as rich. (Bishop 109) (STEWE-2) The land that someone got was called the fief, it was given to them for mostly farming. (STEWE-1)The peasants were also protected during times of war because of the help of knights.(Focus)(STEWE-2) They also had a house that they payed with rents. It was given to them by the lord.
