March 4,1922, Natasha Greenberg is a patient at New Hampshire Correctional Mental Institute. Natasha went for a walk around the perimeter of the building. She was to return in approximately fifteen minutes, she did not. NHCMI sent guards to look for her and found nothing. It was recorded that another patient left his cell ten minutes afterwards, the patient’s name is Edmund Sylvestire, but he returned at the correct time to the correct place. Edmund returned with a sheepish grin on his face.
After the incident with Natasha, Edmund couldn’t erase what he saw. Edmund has Synesthesia, which is a neurological disorder that allows him to see the colors of certain words, dates, or numbers and associate them with a mood or emotion he thinks the person is expressing. At that moment, Edmund knew what her colorful words meant. He laid there as he watched the color drain from the words. He was dead.
Natasha was halfway down the street when a NHCMI van pulled up next to her. She broke into a sprint but she couldn’t outrun the van. Men in black padded suits jumped out of the van and tackled her to the ground. She was then restrained and taken back to the mental institution. Later that year, she was put into “The Pillow Room” to keep her from harming herself and others.
After 2 years, Natasha was let out of the pillow room. She was put in a new cell all by herself. Later that day, she got a call, explaining that she had a visitor. She accepted the call and let the visitor in. She couldn’t believe her eyes. It was Edmund!
“I thought you were dead. I killed you! I stabbed you twice”!, said Natasha. After a moment of silence, Edmund slowly entered the room and smothered Natasha.
