Emily Stowe was born on May 1, 1831 in Norwich Township, Oxford County, Ontario, she died on April 30, 1903 at age 71. Her mom and dad were Hannah Howard and Solomon Jenning’s. Emily 's maiden name was Emily Jenning’s but got married to John Stowe in 1856. Her parents encouraged her to get an education, her parents sent her to a co-educational Quaker school in Providence, Rhode Island. At age 15 Emily accepted employment as a teacher in the town of Summerville, and she taught for seven years.

After her parents died she moved to San Francisco in 1890 to study art, then in 1899, she travelled to England for more studying and Paris, she attended school while in Europe and did some not famous sketches and drawings. A couple years later she moved permanently back to British Columbia to find her muse of the native culture. Some of her work showed the British Columbian forest, Canadian aboriginal culture, and native landscape. To help with her influence she lived with the Native Americans for some time to help with research.
Emily Bronte was born on July 30, 1818, in Thornton, Yorkshire, England. She was the fifth child of their parents. His father was the Reverend named Patrick Bronte and her mother was called Maria Branwell Bronte. She has five siblings in her family called Maria Bronte, Elizabeth Bronte, Branwell Bronte, Charlotte Bronte, Anne Bronte. Interestingly, Charlotte and Ann is also the famous novelist.
Emily followed Charlotte and began attending Cowan Bridge in 1824. Emily despised school and ostracized herself from everyone but her family (The Brontë Society & Brontë Parsonage Museum, n.d.b). After the sickness of Maria and Elizabeth, Emily returned home from Cowan Bridge in June 1825. After Charlotte became a teacher at Roe Head School, Emily came in order to support her sister’s endeavors as a teacher. Having little success, Emily returned home three months later.
She lived a quiet life that was spent mostly with her family. She was educated for much of her life and loved writing. Emily’s literature made her famous after her death at the age of 30. She never received recognition for her writing as she published it under a different name, Ellis

This protest went on for years and they brought Patrick Bronte in to help calm down the protesters but eventually the protest would stop after it was suppressed by the military. Patrick Bronte would then go on to tell his children about the stories of the Luddite. In Thornton, England which lays on the outskirts of Bradford, in 1818 on July 30th, Emily Bronte was born.

His principal recalled her as a very intelligent and excellent academic of consummate deportment who was faithful in all school duties. She spent a few terms off due to illness. The longest off was of one year when she was enrolled for eleven weeks. She enjoyed her strenuous studies writing to friends that the Academy was a better place to study.

Once there, she secretly created a lot of poetry and wrote hundreds of letters. Dickinson was a creative reserved poet; fewer than a dozen of her approximately 1,800 poems were published during her lifetime.
