Emma Watson is not only an incredible leader; she is an amazing inspiration to women, and men of all ages. She is an incredible actress, and activist who spends her time working on professional acting projects, continuing her education and working on different campaigns including HeForShe; which is a campaign that focuses on gender equality. She speaks not only to the press, but to her fans themselves, and it’s a way that she can stay connected to anyone who looks up to her. She is a proud feminist, but in the true meaning of the word and not what it has begun to mean. One of the most impactful opportunities I’ve had was working for my volunteer job with Career Trek. At career trek, I had the opportunity to work with students on discovering different career paths they can take, and learning the steps they would need to take to become involved in the field they want to choose. You get a chance to teach classes as well as help students connect more in depth with the lessons and the activities, and you can create a personal connection which can help the children learn. One of the things I was fortunate enough to do was be a junior instructor for theatre and film, one of our career fields. I had the opportunity to teach the lessons and engage the students in their learning. I was able to be confident in my ability to teach the content, as well as find different ways to help the kids understand. With my promotion to a Junior Campus Coordinator, I was put in charge of the other junior staff. i am able to help them realize and achieve their goals, as well as help them develop their own leadership skills. i was given more responsibility with the task of managing the campus alongside my Campus Coordinator, and overseeing the kids. This opportunity has given me a chance to develop and perfect my leadership skills, and though I’m not perfect, because there are always things to learn, I am very confident in my leadership
