He is a very different character from the other characters in the book. He has his own way of thinking from the other characters he can knows how to handle things that are thrown at him. Mostly the constant pressure. His actions are thought out he just simply knows what he is doing. Ender has a very unique personality no character in this book has personality that relates to his.
Ender doesn’t like hurting people much at the beginning but towards the end he becomes a soldier and a killer. Ender leaned his head against the wall of the corridor and cried until the bus came. I am just like Peter. Take my monitor away, and I am just like Peter. This quote shows that Ender doesn’t want to turn out violent like his older brother, but the government forced him to.
The Manipulation of Ender The book, Ender’s Game, is a book full of interesting events. A six year old boy named Ender Wiggin goes to Battle School, where he is continually tested and trained to become an elite commander. He succeeds at Battle School and eventually goes to Command School, where he leads his army to victory over the bugger troops. Because of this, the world is safe from being destroyed by the buggers. Even though Ender and his fleet are successful in defeating the buggers, Ender’s intelligence and skill is taken advantage of throughout the book.
Enders Game Ender overcomes his situation but he goes through many obstacles before he can get where his right now. In the beginning of the story Ender gets his monitor removed and when he goes back to class, a kid named Stilson teases him, and Ender seems bored with school because he knows all the answer. After school, he beats up his bully Stilson and it makes him feel like he has become a bully like Peter which makes him cry. Peter is one of his siblings that has a hate love relationship with him because Ender gets selected to go to battle school and had his monitor longer than Peter or Valentine his sister.
This is another statement that I see often inn the book and agree have with. On this subject kessel writes “The extreme situation Card has constructed to isolate and abuse Ender guarantees our sympathy. After Ender is manipulated into entering Battle School, (he’s brought there by lies severing him from Valentine, his only protector) his abuse continues, deliberately fostered by Graff. On the shuttle up to the orbiting school Graff singles Ender out for praise for the sole purpose that the other recruits will resent him.
Ender’s Game Outline Thesis Statement: Ender Wiggins is a bad person because he destroys and entire race, cares more about winning than his soldiers’ well-being, and hurts and even kills people. I. Evidence #2: He frequently fantasizes about killing buggers and agrees to go to a school specifically intended to train him to destroy them. c. Analysis: The fact that Ender is able to destroy a whole race without even thinking about it twice shows that he is cold-hearted. He is able to commit mass murder which is one of the many traits of being a bad person.
In the book “Ender’s Game,” Ender, the book’s protagonist is the hero of the story. Many of the characters in and out of the book and at times even Ender himself had viewed him as a villain. This is due to the fact that Ender on occasion displayed merciless aggression towards others, despite good intentions. Many of the characters in the book felt inferior to Ender because he was constantly getting singled out because of his mental acuity. Ender was a hero because he always acted in self defense, and always did more good than bad.
However, his friends now regard him as a teacher and “legendary soldier”. They stopped including Ender in their friendly conversations. Ender yearns to be a part of his old company but is frustrated at being excluded instead. This is evident from Ender’s realisation of his exclusion by his friends to for which he states “How could they think I was part of it? Did I laugh?
In Orson Scott Card’s book Ender’s Game, Ender is continually set up against impossible odds by the International Fleet, which is part of a plan to train Ender to fight in the Third Invasion and end the bugger wars forever. Ender’s trials are portrayed more convincingly in the book, as the book shows him struggling with the expectations placed upon him more so than in the movie. An important theme in Ender’s Game is that Ender is continually kept in the dark about the events happening around him. This theme is prevalent throughout the book, and sets the stage for the book’s climax, the Third Invasion.
After he destroys the alien species, he is told that it was all real and he breaks down. The valuable lessons that Ender learns from this victory helped make the book such a successful one that won
On Earth there was a bully named, Stilson. Ender found himself getting physically abused by him daily and when he finally got his opportunity, he made sure he was never bullied again. In battle school, there was a commander named, Bonzo that threatened to kill him; then, in the same scenario Ender decided to make sure that he would win the war and erase all future battles.
