Reflection of English Composition 102 Learning the ropes of writing is essential for all your college courses, moreover, it develops great thinking habits and approaches to academic assignments. English composition is one of the most important college prerequisite courses. It is a requirement for all other major courses within your program of study. “Writing composition” develops your academic writing skills for future subject areas in which I think is crucial for overall college performance. The learning process of writing requires just as much practice as it is to rehearse for public speeches; “writing” develops our parts of speech in which we speak out loud with sheer confidence. Staying in tune with both international and domestic news keeps me well-informed and prepared. As a business major, I aspire to attain professional writing skills that will benefit me in the world of commercial enterprise. I would suggest this course before jumping into any other major course studies because it has helped me develop skills of writing styles, concepts, and formats that are key for class and corporate presentations. I’ve always told my children that if they want to be successful in life to master the “English language”. Meditating the lessons presented in this course in the past four weeks has been an informational rapid pace of literacy. At times of skepticism, I have become puzzled just trying to piece my thoughts together. I cannot express how many times I’ve either missed a word, a punctuation or a perception nevertheless there is always room for improvement. I laughed hysterically thinking to myself, “I knew I should have adhered to my first draft”.
