Star Wars is an epic space opera film series created by George Lucas, which includes galactic battles, theatrical adventure, as well as chivalric romance. The music, mainly composed by John Williams, gives depth to the storyline and is something that fans of all ages will always remember. The specific Star Wars movie that I have chosen to analyze is Star Wars, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, which was released on May 25, 1983.
The character, Luke Skywalker, in the film, “Star Wars: A New Hope,” clearly represents the Medieval Hero characteristics. Luke is a good moral character, he follows the code of chivalry, and he does not have a royal birth. The first piece of evidence is Luke follows the codes of chivalry. For example, he serves the liege/lord, which is Princess Leia, in valour and faith. He courageous followed the orders of Princess Leia.

All of these examples prove that Han Solo is quite an interesting character, who is in a perpetual battle with himself. The film introduces Han
Once the hero has received his Call to adventure, like George Lucas’s Luke Skywalker from Star Wars, they must go on to face their first challenge, the threshold guardians, which ultimately challenge their will to take on the burden of the task. For young master Skywalker, the threshold guardians come with guns. Shortly after young Skywalker receives his call to adventure, from R2-D2, the little droid disappears. When Luke finally locates R2, a group of warriors called Tusken Raiders strike at Skywalker, knocking him out. The sand savages scavenge through Luke’s vehicle, until Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives scaring off the savages, saving Luke.
Luke Skywalker- A courageous, orphaned young farm boy who is eager for adventure and for the chance to prove himself a hero. The chief protagonist of Star Wars episodes IV–VI, Luke must learn to control his emotions and desires in order to master the powers of a Jedi Knight, powers that flow from a mystic connection to the Force, an energy field created by life itself. Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker)- A fallen Jedi Knight, now Dark Lord of the Sith and a fearsome evil presence.
Entering the room, Kylo Ren moved to join them. “Finding the flaw in your training menthods won’t help recover the droid.” Although his mask concealed his facial expression, the rage simmering below his calm demeanor was almost palpable. “And yet, there are larger concerns,” Hux insisted.
Title His 10 year old mind could not wait for tomorrow night. Young Matt had just learned the night before that TNT would be playing a marathon of the Star Wars prequels, 3 of his most enjoyed and favorite movies ever. Matt loved all of the Star Wars movies for George Lucas’s amazing storytelling and the obvious reason, the great visual effects in the movies. When Matt heard the news that tomorrow night TNT would be playing the prequels he told his entire family and they decided that they should have a family movie night.
In Star Wars IV New Hope you see several things that are like our world. Like how people negotiate business deals with each other. In the video, Han Soto reminds me of a used car salesman. Trying to convince you that this vehicle is a life changer with stories about how great it is. It sounds all good until he tells you the ridiculous price.
In, The Empire Strikes Back, Luke Skywalker unconsciously follow in his father's footsteps by recognizing anger, fear, and aggression in the three battles with Darth Vader in Cloud City. Luke allows fear and anger to lead to aggression during the first battle in the carbon-freezing chamber when he ignites his sword first. Luke finds Darth Vader in the carbon freezing chamber and attacks first. Luke attacks over and over while Darth Vader is using defense tactics. Vader encourages Luke's strategies by telling Luke that, "Only your hatred can destroy me" (Lucas The Empire Strikes Back 76).
Star Wars: A New Hope compare and contrast Zoe O’Brien A long time ago... In a galaxy far, far away. "Star Wars: A New Hope" (Lucas, 1977) is a slightly serious movie, about the struggle to salvage what is left of a broken government. Movie posters from "Star Wars: A New Hope" illustrate the Rebel Alliance's deadlock with the formidable Sith Lords, the evil counterpart to the Rebels, to commandeer the freedom of their galaxy, the posters are similar and different because of the facial expressions, the events, and the background.
The conclusion of Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith finalized Anakin Skywalker's transformation from an aspiring Jedi Master to Darth Vader. In order to identify what was responsible for Anakin's transformation, one must analyze how he was influenced to disregard the principles of the Jedi Order. Considering Anakin's attachment to Padme, Chancellor Palpatine was able to influence his decisions regarding the rules of the Jedi Order. Using stoic texts to examine Anakin’s ignorance of the rules of the Jedi order considering affinity for Padme, it can be concluded that Anakin's deep attachment to Padme made him susceptible to be easily influenced to oppose giving up control, accepting fate, and utilizing reason and sound judgement.
For this project I chose the original Star Wars Trilogy, I believe there are scenes spread between the three films that are crucial to my argument that the Empire is an embodiment of 19th century conservatism while the Rebellion counteracts them, representing 19th century liberalism. I plan to use Reflections on the Revolution in France, by Edmund Burke, The Odious Ideas of the Philosophes, by Klemens von Metternich, and On Liberty, by John Stuart Mill. I chose this movie because it is a childhood favorite of mine, and analyzing the greater forces at play through the historical context of liberalism and conservatism adds a new dimension onto the conflict that you see at face value. It adds to the power struggle between the two ideologies in
