When I was kid, I witnessed many violence scenes in my family and it’s become my obsession. Moreover, in our traditional, the wife has to stay home and depend on the husband financial. So, the women did not have a respect from the man. I don’t want my life would be same with my mom and others women in my country, because they just spend a whole day at home and no education. When I have a chance came to America, that’s best chance I ever have in my life. However, my family has to face with many struggles about language, home and transportation. My life seems start over in the America. I also have a struggle about the language. What I learned from Vietnam totally useless, I couldn’t even understand what people say during the school. I like a baby and starting to learn talk and write. While I was in the high school, I have spent a lots time to translate one by one word to understand the assignment. I was stress out and tired, because everyday I went to school, I don’t understand what they said and I just copy what they did. I seem wants to give up everything, but my mother said that" only education could help me have a better future". I have more chance than my friend that I come to American to study, so I need to used and didn’t waste it . Luckily, I have my family, they always support me and help me out of the stress. Especially, my aunties, she was helping me during my crisis mentally. Even though, she was busy with her school and job, but she still come down and helps me with my homework. I am very appreciate and thankful her. Moreover, my teachers were very friendly and also help me a lots.
