Whether marijuana should be legal or not. Marijuana is a kind of plant that was defined as a kind of drug, which could make people who use addicted to it. In different states, the laws of marijuana are different. In United States, eight regions have passed the act allowed marijuana for recreational use, includes Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California, Colorado, Alaska, Maine and Massachusetts. In some other states, marijuana used as medical usage. However, although so many states allow the usage of Marijuana, if it should be legalization is a debatable question. Marijuana is harmful for the user and others. That’s why I against the legalization of recreational use of marijuana.

Effect on growth of teenagers and economy The earlier began use marijuana, there’s more probability to addict to it. “Marijuana is the second most commonly abused drug among teens aged 12 to 17…. Friends may offer them the drug or older siblings may introduce them to getting high. About 60 percent of high school teens say they know where to go to get drugs” (“Teen Marijuana Addiction Facts and Myths”). Marijuana abuse is a serious problem among teenagers. Some teenagers steal money from home and purchase marijuana from friends.

Conclusion I support the legalization of medical use of marijuana, but I strongly against the recreational use of marijuana, because the abuse will bring series social problems, like the security, economy, and the effect on teenagers. However, the legalization will be complex- it has to consider relative problems and prevent the abuse on it. The most obvious problem is that some addicts buy THC from hospital, so there should be specific law of the purchase of marijuana.
