If a person who has been molested while they were a young child, as they get older and become an adult, they feel as if they have to pay back their “dues” because of the fact that they believe they will get away with it.
A child molester is one who exposes him or herself to or fondels children without actually engaging in vaginal or anal intercourse. Others believe that the child molester is a non-violent offender. Dr. A. Nicholas Groth, one of the leading experts on child sexual victimization differentiates the types of “non-violent” child molesters who try to coax or pressure young children into performing sexaul acts versus a “violent” child rapists who intends to overpower and threaten to harm the victim or their family. A child molester is simply an individual who engages in illegal activity for intentional purposes. I believe that a person who exposes himself may be embarrassed of his appearance towards peers, so he then turns to children because young children are usually naive and vulnerable to their surroundings.

To a child molester, sex with children may only be a once in a lifetime act to a long term pattern of behavior. A situational child molester will usually have a lower number of different victims, for example, this type of molester who works in a child day care, may leave and relocate to a nursing home to abuse older victims such as the elderly who are unable to talk or are more vulnerable and less mobile. If a situational child molester does not find satisfactory with children, I believe that he will turn to the elderly because they don’t want to have the same kind of victims, so they switch over to obtain a different kind of
