As I pondered on where I wanted to go for my cross cultural mission experience I had a very broad imagination. I imagined myself traveling half way across the world and helping individuals in foreign countries. I saw myself interacting with people from all over the world. Then I began to really think where God wanted to put me for my cross cultural mission experience. I realized as I looked at the community thirty minutes away from my house they needed just as much help as individuals half way across the world. I believe my calling is to help these individuals that are in dire need so close to home. The population I plan to help is the poverty stricken individuals in North Omaha. I hope to provide them with health services, education, and resources as I serve. On my cross cultural mission experience I want to be a stepping stone for them to bettering their lives. I really do think it would be an amazing experience to help individuals half way across the world, but I am not sure if that will happen. It would be hard financially to complete that option if I was unable to fundraise the money. I will honestly keep praying and God will place me where I need to be for my cross cultural mission experience. I also plan to do my cross cultural mission experience my junior year summer. That means the summer of 2019 is when I plan to serve my cross cultural mission experience. I believe I will get a better understanding of healthcare by then, and I will be able to look into many more options for my cross cultural mission experience. I just need to continue to pray that God places me in the right spot for my cross cultural mission
